This is a thematically arranged collection of poetry for children,  containing ov 300 peoms in twenty-seven groups, from "Australian Creatures" and "Balloons & Kits" to "Work" to Zoos".
 
Each theme is attractively illustrated and includes a range of peotry styles which children can use as models for their own writing.  There are contributions from such favourites as Max Fatchen, Colin McNaughton, Doug MacLeod, Kit Wright, Shel Silverstein, Spike Miligan and a host of others, as well as poems by children themselves.
