This book covers 25 informative studies on various aspects of Victoria and its resources.  The first chapter is historical; the next 9 chapters deal iwth georgraphy, natural resources, and man's use of the land; seven chapters deal with population and indusrty; the final group of 8 chapters deals with tertiary activities, especially education.  Teh cover of topics is by no means complete; but much of the material could not be obtained elsewhere with difficulity, and some of  in has involved considerable research.
